Speaking of Pikachu...

I have a decent length of leftover yellow polar fleece from my Pikachu hat. Nothing is that shade of yellow...except Pikachu! I want to make either a Pikachu hoodie or a giant Pikachu pillow.

A couple weeks ago I finally finished my Pikachu hat. The entire process took a long time as I sewed everything by hand. I'm extremely pleased with the results. :D Though you can't see it clearly in the photo, the hat even has stuffed ears! PIKACHUUUU!

Sugar Cookies

Pikachu looks approvingly at the mountain of sugar cookies.

I made sugar cookies from my summer leadership class on Wednesday. These sugar cookies are simply addicting and yummy! <3 The cookies have a soft texture and are mildly sweet.

The recipe is quite simply, requiring only basic ingredients. I found the recipe here: Easy Sugar Cookies.

As one of my friends likes to say, "Ohnomnomnom!"

Peacemaker Kurogane

I recently checked out Peacemaker Kurogane from my local library. The manga made no sense  because I had not read the prequel, Shinsengumi Imon Peace Maker.

Anyway, Nazuki and Tsumuri, the cat-like twins are so cute! I drew Nazuki in my sketchbook. Sorry for the blurry picture, I took it with my phone. Ha ha.

The blank areas took a long time as I used a roller ball pen to ink them. I need a different pen for inking. Hmm...
