Speaking of Pikachu...

I have a decent length of leftover yellow polar fleece from my Pikachu hat. Nothing is that shade of yellow...except Pikachu! I want to make either a Pikachu hoodie or a giant Pikachu pillow.

A couple weeks ago I finally finished my Pikachu hat. The entire process took a long time as I sewed everything by hand. I'm extremely pleased with the results. :D Though you can't see it clearly in the photo, the hat even has stuffed ears! PIKACHUUUU!

Sugar Cookies

I made sugar cookies from my summer leadership class on Wednesday. These sugar cookies are simply addicting and yummy! <3 The cookies have a soft texture and are mildly sweet.

The recipe is quite simply, requiring only basic ingredients. I found the recipe here: Easy Sugar Cookies.

As one of my friends likes to say, "Ohnomnomnom!"

Peacemaker Kurogane

I recently checked out Peacemaker Kurogane from my local library. The manga made no sense  because I had not read the prequel, Shinsengumi Imon Peace Maker.

Anyway, Nazuki and Tsumuri, the cat-like twins are so cute! I drew Nazuki in my sketchbook. Sorry for the blurry picture, I took it with my phone. Ha ha.

The blank areas took a long time as I used a roller ball pen to ink them. I need a different pen for inking. Hmm...

Delicious Sweetness

I ate something interesting today! I had 香 蕉 飴 or banana yee if you translate the words directly. It is a Taiwanese snack made from sweet potato powder, banana oil, and sugar.

It has the consistency of jelly but its not jello. It reminds of a soft, chewy candy with a hint of sweetness. It can be quite addicting - I ate most of it before I remembered to take a picture...

Updated Layout!

I revised the blog title banner a little bit and added a tree. At first the leaves were floating to the left and then I realized the wind was moving to the right, not the left. I had to redo the leaves all over so the direction of the hair. Still, it only looks windy if you look at the hair...

The clouds were fun. :D I searched up tutorial for clouds on Google. It turns out Photoshop has a button for clouds... I experimented with brushes this time for different effects.

I thought she looked incomplete so I fixed her up a little bit. I got rid of the closeup to fit the tree. It looks better now.

Okay, I guess this is it for now. I will post some more pictures when I have the time to draw and edit. BTW, Bon Jovi's It's My Life is awesome.

It's FRIDAY!

It is finally the weekend! Whoot! This week seemed like forever for the longest time. D:

Today is so sunny that it is blinding me with the ultra shiny glare. I can't stare outside my window too long or else my eyes hurts. It is like staring at a stage light. It hurts but it is so pretty...
